About Paul Peers

Paul in Kenya

Paul is a calm and sensitive practitioner of Five Element Acupuncture. A member of AFEA and the BAF.

Under the guidance of Acupuncture master Gerad Kite (AcM) and his leading team, Paul received his full licentiate (LicAc) from Yellow Path Five Element Acupuncture School in London.

Paul was introduced to the transformative healing power of Five Element Acupuncture when he was just 7 years old. After a few regular treatments, his chronic migraines cleared completely and never returned. Back then he didn’t know that this system would go beyond physical healing: it would realign his mind and spirit.

From this point into adulthood, Paul became attuned to the natural world. He left school to investigate Arboriculture; The study of trees - how they grow and how they respond to their environment. Paul spent many seasons working as a tree surgeon in private gardens of Oxford, Oxford University, the Cotswolds, Bristol and beyond to the woodlands at Prussia Cove on the cliffs of Cornwall. This experience taught him the sensitivity needed when dealing with nature and left him with a reverence for nature’s incredible ability to self-heal and come back to balance.

Paul funded his studies during the early years of his twenty-two year long career at Kayam: his family company; world leading specialist in the design and installation of mobile tensile structures. At age nineteen Paul became a Tent Master before taking charge of the largest mobile tensile structure in Europe: The Valhalla : 73m wide and 25m high. Kayam took Paul and his team to event sites across the world. This physical work carried with it a lot of risk; working outdoors at the mercy of the elements, at height, in constantly new and changing environments; it demanded Paul’s total focus and precision.

Paul went on to work for six years in construction in the film industry in and around London. During this time, he found his relationship with nature was jeopardised with long commutes, ‘making money’ and working overtime. He felt himself on a treadmill to burn out, ill health, and chronic anxiety. He began to value time over money. In returning to and training in Five Element Acupuncture, he has reclaimed his right path.

On this new trajectory, Paul designed and self-built a low impact ‘green’ home in rural Oxfordshire, he met his partner, and together they welcomed their first child.

Everything nature had taught him was recognisable in the Chinese teachings and philosophy underpinning Five Element Acupuncture. On completing his training Paul was invited to give voluntary treatments in a clinic on Lamu island in Kenya, founded by Wendy Mandy, another highly renowned and inspiring Five Element Acupuncturist and energy healer. This was hugely rewarding and formative for Paul’s Acupuncture practice. His patients returned to him week on week and he saw some profound changes in their wellbeing over the course of their treatments.

Paul is now taking on a limited number of new clients in London and Oxford Practices. Book an appointment with him HERE.
